Are you Cool or Warm?

The secret to finding clothes that are best for you is to determine whether your coloring is warm or cool. Typically, when you try on a color, you know instantly whether it looks good on your or not. Do you get compliments when you wear blue, green, pink? If so, make sure you purchase more of those colors.

Be mindful of what colors you wear that bring you the most complements. This is the season to color your closet, answer this short questionnaire and feel more confident about the colors your choose.

WHAT COLOR ARE YOUR EYES?

a. Golden brown, green, green-blue, turquoise, or hazel with gold or brown flecks?
b. Deep brown or black-brown, gray-blue, dark-blue, or hazel with white, gray or blue flecks?

WHAT IS YOUR SKIN TONE?

Go back to the mirror and check out the color of your skin. Pay attention to the skin along your jawline, is it:
a. Brown with pink or golden undertones, pale with peach or gold undertones or freckled or golden brown?
b. Very dark brown, olive, pale or medium with faint pink undertones or no color in your cheeks?

WHAT IS YOUR HAIR COLOR?

a. Deep brown with gold or red highlights, red, or strawberry blond?
b. Blue-black, deep coffee brown, medium ash brown, medium golden brown, ash blond or golden blond?

ARE YOU WARM OR COOL?

If your answers were mostly A’s, your coloring is warm. You will look best in earth tones. This means golden browns, yellows, orange-based reds, rich pinks and rich greens.

If you answers were mostly B’s, your coloring is cool. You will look great in jewel tones. This means blues, clear greens, bright pinks, purples and blue based reds.
